Our Community: Asheville Humane Society

The Mutt Strut is the Asheville Humane Society's largest annual fundraiser. Previously named Walk for the Animals, the Mutt Strut is a great opportunity to bond with your furry pal while helping to support our local humane society. In 2009, R.E.A.C.H. participated in and helped sponsor this event. Hosted by Blaze-N-Skyy pet boutique in benefit of the Asheville Humane Society, downtown Asheville's Halloween Dog Festival is a unique and exciting event. R.E.A.C.H. has participated and helped sponsor this event since the start in 2008. Dogs dressed in an array of Halloween costumes are judged in categories ranging from Best Ensemble to Best Trick.
