You are not alone in the fight
Our primary goal is to provide exceptional care for pets with cancer. We understand that hearing your pet has been diagnosed with cancer is overwhelming and can be scary. We are here to provide the information and support you need to help make medical decisions for your pet and treasured family member.
- Diagnosis and management of cancer in dogs and cats
- Staging of cancer
- Referral for radiation therapy
There are several key treatment modalities that are used to treat pets with cancer. These include surgery, chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and in some cases, immunotherapy. Many times, a combination of these treatment modalities are used. While side effects of such treatments are possible, most pets maintain or have improved quality of life during treatment.
We also specialize in the palliative care of pets with cancer. Palliative care involves management of pain and any discomfort of the underlying disease. This is an extremely important part of managing the pet’s quality of life whether they are receiving other treatments (i.e. chemotherapy, radiation therapy), or not.
We strive to stay current on new and innovative diagnostic and therapeutic techniques. We also work with your primary care veterinarian and other specialty veterinarians at REACH to provide quality and comprehensive care for your pet.
We know that each pet and family is unique. At REACH, we work hard to find a treatment plan that works the best for you and your pet.
